Your usual journey begins with a chat through WhatsApp, email, or social media about your inspiration, a rough quote, and timeline. If the quote and timing suit us all, we will follow up with an initial consultation at our Ringwood studio. For a successful custom experience we encourage brides to try on gowns at different shops to discover what they like or don't like.
Step 2: In-Person Consultation – Turning vision and ideas into sketches, trying on Fabric Samples and Taking Measurements
During our chat, we will discuss your inspiration, vision, venue, and personal style in detail. Are you drawn to clean, minimalist lines or romantic lace and embellishment?
Trying on Fabric Samples We guide you through options such as silk, satin, crepe, organza, and various laces, explaining how each behaves, drapes, and photographs. We look at some fabric samples to help you visualise which fits your personality and vision, and guide your decision.
Sketching Your Dream Gown Once we understand your vision, we move into the sketching stage. Here, your ideas become real as we explore silhouettes, necklines, sleeve options, trains, and embellishments on paper.
Taking Measurements and Made-to-Measure Pattern We take detailed measurements of your bust, waist, hips, torso length, and more, ensuring that the gown fits your unique proportions rather than a standard size chart. From these measurements, a bespoke pattern is created specifically for you.

Subsequent fittings focus on fine-tuning: perfecting the hem to suit your shoes, refining the neckline, the bust and waist shapes, and ensuring every seam sits smoothly. If you’d like to add or adjust details — like adding an extra appliqué, changing the neckline slightly, or modifying the sleeve length — this is the time to do it.
Step 4: The Final Try-On and Dress Collection Day
Your final fitting is the moment everything comes together. You step into a gown that was designed, cut, and sewn with you in mind, from the first sketch to the last stitch.
